Our history dates back in 1950 with Achilli Ercole starting a small metalwork firm; the business begins in a tiny workshop and in a few years it specializes in the production of floor grinding machines. Ercole, supported by his wife Sara, manages to expand in the foreign markets thanks to his participation at international trade fairs, starting to export increasing quantities of floor grinders abroad.
This first expansion stage allowed the company to develop and enter new market segments by starting the production of new models such as the portable bench saws for building materials and, later on, the bridge saws for stone fabricators. After so many years of expansion Achilli, having reached a leading position in its field, has however maintained its feature of family company and is today managed by Ercole’s sons: Marco, technical, R & D and production manager and Davide, leading administrative and commercial areas.
